French pastry as it should be: We had chaussons aux pommes and croissants with coffee and tea. It tasted just like in France, but was also quite pricey. Sitting outside at the corner of The Rocks made for a very nice breakfast, with two sugar-addicted parrots for company. A friend recommended this place so I decided to check it out. I loved this place so much. Ordered sausage puff and quiche. All was good and I love the table outside in front of restaurant.
U can enjoy your breakfast and watch people. I will definitely go back when I visit Sydney again. The almond Croissant is to die for. Beautiful, moist and buttery. It's worth going here even just to have one of these with your coffee. Stopped in for our usual afternoon coffee and cake after visiting Sydney for the day, and it has been some time since we were here through the week rather than a weekend, but still able to have excellent coffee and outstanding cake from La Renaissance.
This place has a beautiful courtyard, hidden away from the busyness that is The Rocks. Croissants and Pain au Chocolat to die for, coffee is delicious too! Definitely returning, definitely recommend.
